The Merry Wives of Windor
Identity, Posters

Posters and visual identity for Glenn Elston and the Australian Shakespeare Company’s The Merry Wives of Windsor – a 70s interpretation of the original play as part of the Shakespeare in the Park summer series. Bawdy photography and a whimsical typographic lockup combine to portray the overall cheekiness of the production, while classic 70s patterning made from cut and scanned paper adds dynamism and a touch of nostalgia. Never a dull moment, The Merry Wives of Windsor truly fulfils its promise of ‘mischief meets comic mayhem’.
